Pupil Well-Being

Pupil Well-Being Committee focuses on providing various opportunities and multiple platforms to cater to our pupils’ various needs. The committee ensures that no Regenites are left behind. The committee also endeavors to support Regenites with a more enriching values education where opportunities are provided for them to gain unique learning experiences.

Pupil Well-Being Committee works towards establishing close collaborations with external organisations so as to provide varied and meaningful learning opportunities for our pupils as well as financial and emotional support to the pupils and parents.

Program highlights 2013

Personal and Social Education

  • Dedicated Habits of Mind curriculum for Sec 1 and Sec 2 pupils
  • Sexuality Education for Sec 1 to Sec 4/5 pupils
  • “Breaking Down Barriers”: a Sexuality Education program in collaboration with Health Promotion Board for Sec 3 students

Regent’s Unique Career Guidance Programme – Aspirations Programme

  • Careers Day @ Nanyang Polytechnic for the Secondary 4 and 5 pupils
  • Course Advising session with Nanyang Polytechnic for the Secondary 4 and 5 pupils
  • Mock Release of Mid-Year examination results and registration exercise for the Sec 4 and 5 pupils
  • College West ITE Counselling Booths For 3NT, 4NT, 4NA, 5NA pupils
  • Experience ITE Programme for Sec 2 and Sec 3 Normal(Technical) pupils
  • Work Attachment Programme for Secondary 3 pupils during the June and November school holiday
  • Various visits to post-secondary institutions such as Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and ITEs
  • Direct School Admission Exercise to Polytechnics and Junior Colleges (Guidance provided) to students
  • Motivational Talks for all pupils
